The reopening of a myth hotel :
The Raffles of Singapor, a jewel hotel was inaugurated in 1887 and became the symbol of his city. A hundred years later, it was upgraded to a national monument. The challenge of its renovation was immense. The Raffles is unique in the world of catering because it offers 6 restaurants and 5 bars for only 115 suites. Pierre Burgade, the executive director of the establishment, called on us to create a tailor-made solutions.
A custom-made project
We have immersed ourselves in the history of this myth. After a thorough analysis of requirements, desires, but also operating constraints, we proposed a custom-made offer for tableware, buffet, afternoon tea and amenities in rooms.

A word from Pierre Burgade
«The renovation of the hotel was a challenge. In 2016, before the closure for renovation , I already knew how important the art of the table would become. We have combined well-known porcelain manufacturers brands with custom-made dishes, such as afernoon tea. We wanted to improve quality, consistency, staging, the art of the table... This is why our collaboration with Safran Paris was created."
Ours creations for the Buffet
The breakfast room was very high under the ceiling. To create rhythm on the buffet, we had to add some height. We solved aesthetic and visual problems by giving volume with parts such as our Venus stands or Arhum basket.

Our creations for the amenities
We have created 8 different configurations of amenities, depending on room categories and client check-in times. We used the palm tree, the emblem of the Raffles, in the form of a stylized palm leaf.

The Afternoon Tea
We decorated the teapots with stylized orchids, a very symbolic flower in Asia. The idea was to offer a discret and elegant service. These tailor-made creations were essential because the afternoon tea is an institution at The Raffles.
